The painting shows two astronauts facing each other in the vastness of space, with a floating monolith above them. The monolith symbolises key moments of human advancement and the mysterious forces behind them. The astronauts, representing human curiosity and determination, encounter the monolith at a crucial point of understanding, symbolising our quest for knowledge. "Firstborn" invites viewers to reflect on our place in the universe and the unknown possibilities of our future.
